02 – Paddle Pals :: June 1, 4.30pm :: Island View w/Ricardo

Trip description :

We will meet at 4:30 (on the water by 5pm) and paddle out to Hart-Miller Island (HMI), stopping at the main beach area and Drum Point. Depending on the group’s pace and time, we’ll also paddle through the passage between HMI and Pleasure island (PI), around the southern side of PI, to see the Craighill Channel Lower Range Rear Light and stop on a PI beach before heading back to Island View. Paddlers should expect a leisurely 6-7 mile paddle in mild open water. If conditions change, increased winds, we’ll paddle in Browns Creek and check out the wildlife!

** Paddle Pals will only go out if there are no SCAs. Please be sure to check for SCAs prior to traveling to the dock.
