Dock Captains / Club Volunteers
Dock Captains are responsible for the supervision of individual docks and club inventory. They lead Monthly paddle pals and are often the first CKC staff that new members meet after orientation training.

Dock Captains are club volunteers who schedule, coordinate and lead monthly paddle pals during the season. Prior to becoming a dock captain, they must complete rescue training. They monitor club inventory at their assigned dock and report on problems or incidents to the Fleet Manager and Vice President. For their contribution they receive a complimentary membership.

Paddle Leaders schedule, coordinate and lead paddle pals at least every other month. Provide guided paddle pals to members. Prior to becoming a dock captain, they must complete rescue training. For their contribution, Paddle Leaders receive a half price membership.

Dock Managers regularly check on the condition of their assigned dock, including the security of kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and launchers. They confirm, report, and respond to any incidents after consulting with the Fleet Manager and Vice President. For their contribution, Dock Managers receive a half price membership.
