Paddle Pals @ Downs Park w/Zhen; Sunday, August 10, 1-4:00 pm

Join Zhen for about 6 miles (or shorter based on the group’s level) of paddling at Downs Park. Catch some great birds and possibly some waves from boat traffic are expected although the boaters here are typically not nasty.

On arrival you must first check-in with the park gatehouse on the right. If you have your CKC member card, they usually won’t charge you an entrance fee. Occasionally, they do and it’s $6. The kayak launch is on the left-hand side of the park and then walk down a short path through the woods.

On Water       1:00 pm

Back to dock: 4:00 pm

Limited to six paddlers

Bring snacks and water.

Please check the weather before travel/keep an eye on Slack for any small craft advisories or other marine advisories that would necessitate cancellation.
