Paddle Pal@Downs Park w/Brad; Saturday, June 27, 10 am-Noon’sh

Join Brad for at Downs Park. All levels of experience welcome. We might paddle around Locust Cove, Wharf Creek, Bodkin Creek, and Back Creek to see what interesting things we can find. Plan on about 2 hours of paddling among the natural surroundings. Could possibly make a stop at Hancock’s Resolution.

Arrival Time: 9:45 am

On Water:      10:00 am

Back to dock: Noon’sh pm

Limited to seven paddlers

Bring snacks and water.

Please check the dock information on the CKC website for dock location.  The dock is on the opposite side of the road from the ranger’s shack. The kayak launch is on the left-hand side of the park and then walk down a short path through the woods.

Please check the weather before travel/keep an eye on Slack for any small craft advisories or other marine advisories that would necessitate cancellation.
