Paddle Pal @ Downs Park with Brad; Friday, August 15, 2025; 10 am-12 pm

Join Brad for a morning Paddle Pal at Downs Park. All levels of experience welcome.  We will paddle around Locust Cove, Wharf Creek, Bodkin Creek, and Back Creek to see what interesting things we can find. Plan on about 2 hours of paddling.

On Water       10:00 am

Back to dock: 12:00 pm

Limited to seven paddlers

All levels of experience welcome.  We will paddle around Locust Cove, Wharf Creek, Bodkin Creek, and Back Creek to see what interesting things we can find.  On arrival you must first check-in with the park gatehouse on the right. If you have your CKC member card, they usually won’t charge you an entrance fee. Occasionally they do and it’s $6. The kayak launch is on the left-hand side of the park and then walk down a short path through the woods.

Please check the weather before travel/keep an eye on Slack for any small craft advisories or other marine advisories that would necessitate cancellation. Bring water, sunscreen, and a snack.
