Join Brad for at Downs Park. All levels of experience welcome. We will paddle around Locust Cove, Wharf Creek, Bodkin Creek, and Back Creek to see what interesting things we can find. Plan on about 2 hours of paddling among the natural surroundings.

Arrival Time: 9:45 am

On Water:      10:00 am

Back to dock: Noon’sh pm

Limited to six paddlers

Bring snacks and water.

All levels of experience are welcome.  We will paddle around Locust Cove, Wharf Creek, Bodkin Creek, and Back Creek to see what interesting things we can find.  On arrival you must first check-in with the park gatehouse on the right. If you have your CKC member card, they usually won’t charge you an entrance fee. Occasionally they do and it’s $6. The kayak launch is on the left-hand side of the park and then walk down a short path through the woods.

Please check the weather before travel/keep an eye on Slack for any small craft advisories or other marine advisories that would necessitate cancellation.
