FreeJoin Jennifer for a Paddle Pal at Downs Park for an early evening exploration of the ins and outs of Bodkin Creek. Great for those newer to kayaking, though by no means limited. Plan on 1.5 hours but Jennifer could be persuaded to stay out longer.

On Water: by 5:00 pm
Back to dock: 6:30/7:00 pm
Limited to seven paddlers
Bring sunscreen, snacks and water.
On arrival you must first check-in with the park gatehouse on the right. If you have your CKC member card, they usually won’t charge you an entrance fee. Occasionally they do and it’s $6. The kayak launch is on the left-hand side of the park and then walk down a short path through the woods.
Please check the weather before travel/keep an eye on Slack for any small craft advisories or other marine advisories that would necessitate cancellation.
