FreeSunday, June 5 at Chesapeake Harbour – arrive by 8.45am to be on the water by 9am.
NOTES:
- Not for complete novices as you’ll launch right into the Bay
- There is no restroom available on site, but there is a McDonald’s and a Starbucks about a mile away that you’ll pass on your way there
- When paddlers arrive at the gate, they should identify themselves as Canton Kayak Club members and mention “Nancy Purdy”
- Directions: turn right immediately after the gate. Park in lot right next to the tennis courts. Follow the rock path down to the beach on the Bay.
- Paddlers should check the marine forecast before leaving home, conditions can be unpredictable there
- Registration will close Saturday morning at 10am — RSVP before then if you’d like to go
