Remove debris from the wetlands, maintain the pollinator and rain gardens and more.

Overview
Give a day for the Bay! Join the National Aquarium’s Conservation team for a field day at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. We will remove debris from the wetlands, maintain the pollinator and rain gardens and more. Data collected from this event will contribute to the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup.  This day was picked due to the low morning tide.

Participants are strongly encouraged to REGISTER at aqua.org for this event, as capacity is limited to ensure safety. Please contact conserve@aqua.org or 410-659-4249 for more information or for safety questions.

CKC Members must REGISTER on then National Aquarium site before reserving a CKC Kayak from the UA Tide Point dock to paddle out together to Fort McHenry, 2400 East Fort Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230

Trash bags and gloves will be provided by National Aquarium.  Trash Pickers will be provided by CKC.
